and that’s why we have to make a conscious effort to treat other people the way we know is right, not writing off everything we and the people around us do as “just the way it is” instead of confronting prejudices and cruelty for what they really are. we can’t just say “we are society so why do we blame society” we should be saying “we are a part of society and so by speaking out against wrongful things, we can change the social conditioning of our society”.
